About
Branches and Benches is an arboricultural company with almost a decade of experience, founded by Josh Ring.
Josh began his career as a tree surgeon in 2017, learning the trade from the ground up before progressing to become a full-time climbing arborist. He specialises in crown reductions, fine pruning, and delivering high-quality tree work with precision and care.
Working as a subcontractor for dozens of companies across the UK has provided Josh with invaluable experience, exposure to a wide range of tree species and management techniques, and the opportunity to learn from some of the industry's most skilled arborists.
In 2024, he expanded the business by qualifying as a Professional Tree Inspector (PTI), enabling Branches and Benches to offer professional tree inspections and surveys alongside practical arboricultural services.
Based in Glasgow, Branches and Benches undertakes work throughout the Central Belt and is happy to travel further afield for specialist projects.
